"Adventures, I used to call them. I used to think that they were things the wonderful folk of the stories went out and looked for, because they wanted them, because they were exciting and life was a bit dull...But that's not the way of it with the tales that really mattered, or the ones that stay in the mind. Folk seem to have just landed in them, usually...I expect they had a lot of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn't. And if they had, we shouldn't know, because they'd have been forgotten."

LOA and waiting to travel

We received our LOA a few weeks ago. This is basically China saying yes, we can adopt Zoey! There are still a crazy amount of steps left before we can travel, but we are only about a month away from heading to China!! We need a second immigration approval, then we need to apply for her Visa and our Visa's, and the paperwork all needs to meet up at the Embassy in China and then onto the government. Then they will issue a travel approval to us!

Right after we got LOA, we were able to send Zoey a care package. We sent her an outfit, jammies, books, a photo album, a toy and a bag to put her special things in. Then we received gifts from her orphanage.... new pictures and a sweet little video of her! Oh my goodness has she grown! We will miss her third birthday by just a week or two, but its coming up so fast.

We do have a donation site set up. It will send you a tax receipt after you donate, and every penny comes to us to help us bring Zoey home.
