"Adventures, I used to call them. I used to think that they were things the wonderful folk of the stories went out and looked for, because they wanted them, because they were exciting and life was a bit dull...But that's not the way of it with the tales that really mattered, or the ones that stay in the mind. Folk seem to have just landed in them, usually...I expect they had a lot of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn't. And if they had, we shouldn't know, because they'd have been forgotten."

Looks like a shady exchange to me. :)
Its been a couple exciting weeks around here! With beginning an adoption again, and all the end of the school year activities, we've been running around like crazy. Soon the kids' summer activities will begin and we'll be enjoying a busy summer, too.

Last weekend I found a bike at a garage sale for only $5. Its not perfect, but I figured the little girl driving it would be crashing it anyway. It was missing the training wheels, so when we got home, I dug out the pair that came with Anthony's bike... brand new in the packaging. Put them on and off she went. I've never seen a kid so excited to bike! She rides for hours, up and down the road, around and around the driveway. Its the first thing she asks for when she gets up, and we literally have to peel her off of it in the evenings. The morning after we got it, we came outside to leave the house and she got out in the garage and pointed, smiled and hollered 'MY BIKE! ITS STILL HERE!'. LOL I'm not sure where she thought it was going ,but she was quite thrilled it was still where she parked it.

Just in case you haven't heard our big news... We are adopting again! The sweet little girl we hope to add to our family is 2 years old and has a heart condition. We are working very hard to finish up our paperwork so we can travel to her soon. We are thrilled to complete our family and can't wait to have her home! If you feel led, you can visit our page and donate. Also if you check out the sidebar to the right, my Etsy shop is filling up with lots of cute things! $12 hats through the summer, and $15 dolls! Every penny supports our adoption, and you get cute stuff! My Etsy is HERE
and our FSP (every donation to our FSP is tax deductible!) is RIGHT HERE

Here is a video of Alina on her new bike. :)
