"Adventures, I used to call them. I used to think that they were things the wonderful folk of the stories went out and looked for, because they wanted them, because they were exciting and life was a bit dull...But that's not the way of it with the tales that really mattered, or the ones that stay in the mind. Folk seem to have just landed in them, usually...I expect they had a lot of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn't. And if they had, we shouldn't know, because they'd have been forgotten."

Project 365- Week 11

Two weeks ago I posted about the foot of snow we had gotten. The kids were thrilled and we spent hours outside building forts and sledding.

For the last two days my kids have worn shorts and t-shirts, flip flops, bike riding and on their scooters in the 70 degree weather. Only in MN!

Ice cream after orthodontics appt.

Easter dress! I love this fabric. Doubles as a cute dress for the Cherry Blossom festival!

Crazy cute!

Rockin' my old shades in the car

Big brother was tooling around the neighborhood with a couple friends on bikes, Anth and Alina took a break from the 'heat' to sit in the shade and toss rocks

I may or may not have used the opportunity to place rocks by her feet so she had to bend and pick them up and then stand up to toss them. :)

Project 365- Week 9 Finally some SNOW!

We finally got a good MN snow this week! School was even canceled on Wednesday! That never happens. We got about 10" of snow here, and it was a total whiteout the entire morning. The kids were thrilled!

this is part of our front yard

Building forts

It was hard work.

Contrary to the cheesy smile on her face, she was thrilled with the snow and the kids were outside for over 3 hours!

Love this kid! I hope those front teeth never grow back. Ok, I hope they DO, just not for a few more months. :)

The CP Connection #4

Its Cerebral Palsy Awareness month! Last year I did this series of posts explaining CP.... maybe I will answer questions this year. Anyone have any questions?

This chickie DOES fight like a girl! (read her shirt!)
Freakishly strong and determined, she takes CP down every single day!
