"Adventures, I used to call them. I used to think that they were things the wonderful folk of the stories went out and looked for, because they wanted them, because they were exciting and life was a bit dull...But that's not the way of it with the tales that really mattered, or the ones that stay in the mind. Folk seem to have just landed in them, usually...I expect they had a lot of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn't. And if they had, we shouldn't know, because they'd have been forgotten."

Happy Birthday!

Little A turned 6yrs old today. I can't believe it.... 6yrs ago I thought I was going to be pregnant forever as he was a week overdue. We couldn't wait to meet the little guy, who turned out to be not so little, but chubby cheeked perfection. :)

Today we enjoyed the day at Jackson Street Roundhouse, his favorite place in the world. It was a beautiful Fall day, just like the day he was born!

All ready to go!

Perfect.... I love this picture!

'I'm awesome!'

One thing she's gained over the last year is an ego. :)

And a new walking video. Notice how she can stop short now... a new skill required for school I suppose. :) And also notice how she kind of clumps along down the driveway, but when she was motivated to get up to the trailer for a bike ride she walks great! :)

Its the first day! Of the 4th and Kindergarten and Pre-K!

Big A started 4th grade, Little A started Kindergarten, and Baby A is in preschool. Time is flying by... they are growing up so fast!

Ready for 4th grade!

She was so excited to see the bus! And about 3 seconds later she was melting down because SHE Wanted to get on the bus. She didn't understand that she gets to get on the bus in the afternoon. :)

Love this guy!

And off he goes!

FINALLY, in the afternoon, it was her turn to go!

She took a walker to school for gym, outside free play, etc.

And last, but certainly not least, Little A started Kindergarten today. :)

He was a little nervous.

But it helps to have a big brother around.

And the big boys were off.
