"Adventures, I used to call them. I used to think that they were things the wonderful folk of the stories went out and looked for, because they wanted them, because they were exciting and life was a bit dull...But that's not the way of it with the tales that really mattered, or the ones that stay in the mind. Folk seem to have just landed in them, usually...I expect they had a lot of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn't. And if they had, we shouldn't know, because they'd have been forgotten."

Vacation for 4 please!

For the last time! (prayerfully!)

I just booked us for three nights, four days HERE! We are going to 'Grisw*ld' it out to South Dakota and spend three nights at this campground! My mom and step dad stayed here last summer, and said it was a really nice place, and its right in the middle of everything we want to do on our short visit there.

So far the only 'for sure' thing we have planned is to visit the 1880 Train! The boys are so excited... as I'm sure you all know by now my boys are train FANATICS. It actually goes beyond fanatical, and passes into weirdly obsessive. But hey, they could be interested in something that they couldn't grow with.

We will likely visit Mount Rushmore too.... I mean who goes to SD and not visit Mount Rushmore. And a few of the small towns I remember loving visiting when I was a child.

It will be a quick trip, and hopefully our last without our girl! The boys are super excited to see the train and to camp it out for the weekend!
