"Adventures, I used to call them. I used to think that they were things the wonderful folk of the stories went out and looked for, because they wanted them, because they were exciting and life was a bit dull...But that's not the way of it with the tales that really mattered, or the ones that stay in the mind. Folk seem to have just landed in them, usually...I expect they had a lot of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn't. And if they had, we shouldn't know, because they'd have been forgotten."

It was a great day!

Today we met some new friends! Hilary and family just moved from Nebraska to a town very near us! I had been waiting to get in touch with her, knowing how stressful a move is, especially with kids, to a new state, a new house, with unpacking and finding you way, its hard! When she updated her blog with 'we are here!' I was excited to meet her and the kids!

She invited us to their new house to play at the park nearby. The kids hit it off right away. Alexander and her boys are very close in age, and they got along great! Alexander and Tyler really 'get' each other! Anthony was just excited to run with the big boys! Their little girls are just the cutest!

The boys talked about the kids the whole way home, and rattled Dad's ear off about them once we got home! I love meeting new people and it was great to hit it off with a new friend. And the boys can't wait to see them again either!

Oh, I am so glad Hilary has made a friend in MN. We are going to try for a reunion of our Kyrgyz babies next year. We sure hope that you can join us. Wouldn't it be great if you had a Kyrgyz baby too!
