"Adventures, I used to call them. I used to think that they were things the wonderful folk of the stories went out and looked for, because they wanted them, because they were exciting and life was a bit dull...But that's not the way of it with the tales that really mattered, or the ones that stay in the mind. Folk seem to have just landed in them, usually...I expect they had a lot of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn't. And if they had, we shouldn't know, because they'd have been forgotten."

Patient dirty beggars

These are THE most patient cats ever. Little A lays on Mr Gordon, he carries him around, he loves on him all the time. And Mr Gordon just takes it. He may look angry in these pics, but thats his 'oh someone is loving on me' face.

Thankfully Big A is a bit more gentle, and actually knows how to pick up and hold a cat!

This is where they spend their time while we are preparing dinner. I have learned to look and kind of shuffle my feet when I walk when I'm in the kitchen because there is always one underfoot looking for a handout! (Bonus points to my hubby, who made dinner last night!)

And in case you were wondering, they did get a small taste. It was apparently good. :)
